And that's my problem with such business practises in general. Take an example of Claude. Not only, at this point, their models might be just marginally better than the open weight competition, they also also makes it entirely impossible for you to reach human support in case of an issue (and I am talking about real money related issues). You just can't do it. Yes, there's an email but that is also handled by the same bot.
I just don't understand how these companies can get away with that. These are the aspects of life that tells very clearly how most Govts are not chosen and ran for "the people" but the few, not the conspiratorial spirals. These are the smaller, but harsh Kafkaesque realities of life that says we lost this to the power of the "rich" - and it's an abstract power, it's not fixed, and if someone from the "masses" manages to become part of it they also reap the benefit but by the design of things that number has to be really small.

OhMyPi is essentially Claude like bloated and Pi is so barebones that many will just get frustrated trying to add bricks after bricks to make it usable for complex workflows - so I don't really see any point of it being in such benchmarks. Pi should have added option to easily add "packs" (and then also tweak tehm) sort of things. When I tried it I actually thought that's what OMP will be, but it was not. It was a different harness altogether in a way and not a nice way.
I wish we could use just the frontend of omp harness-agnostically, like the provider switching, stats dashboard, subscription pooling etc. are excellent features, but it doesn't seem inconceivable that we can have all that with a swappable "actual" harness. I've tried to make omp more pi-like by lazy loading most of the tools rather than dumping them into system prompt. haven't benchmarked this yet.
Is your main concern privacy? I've been using the zcode of and on for a few months now and it's definitely improved over what it was back in the spring. I also use DeepSeek's harness. Not sure which I prefer at this point. Used to be I preferred DSH, but zcode has some features I like over DSH.
I just looked it up: apparently they silently uploaded your entire repo with the entire git history to the cloud. A feature not controlled by any settings, operating and retrying silently.
Their excuse was that it was a file indexing optimisation and they forgot to create a toggle or setting around it. As an apology they open sourced the harness, but wiped out the history.
It sounds to me like a good distillation technique if the project has hundreds of commits written by Claude and detailed commit descriptions. Also for completeness Grok did the exact same thing two months ago.
Their highest starred repo, the SDK, has 7.8K stars. Yet they felt the need to show 13000+ on this landing page (summing up all repo stars). Technically correct inflating it? Well, that's confidence boosting.

Did any Anthropic exec threaten to do something unsavoury if any engineer ever tried to not name the claude cli binary as the version number itself? Because if they did, I'd understand. This comes from an ardent Apple/macOS/iOS hater. Yes, I know I am using a very strong word. The short version is: when it comes to laptop hardware w.r.t price nothing comes even remotely close. Like, literally none.
Price as well? Yes. When I bought my first MacBook Air in ~2011-12 I was shocked to see what I got for ~57K INR (no, I am not converting it to USD) I would not have gotten from any other OEM even for fricking 120-130K INR (I had the choice here to instead say 1.2-1.3L :D). And that hasn't changed more or less.
But their OSs are pathetic, their software (even other than the OS part) are downright disgusting. But they sort of have a great personal computing hardware monopoly. Because no one else bothers to make it. For whatever reason.
They make it increasingly hard to make Linux on this. Really really hard.
What else sucks? Repair and repair cost. You are literally using a costly (bank-broken-level) repair affair ticking time-bomb in your backpacks - there is no two way about it.
And people who are going to say, like every time, "but how many times has your Apple device broken down", or even "but why won't you buy a new one after 3-4 years", or something even more stupid like "wait.. so your AirPod stopped working after 3 years.. you wanted it to last for 30 years?", please go and put the head back into the warm sand where it safely was. Anyone saying, "but they give you repair kits", please f-- off!
tl;dr: it's not the right way to buy personal computing hardware, but the the closest right way is a decade behind or at best many years.

If you have used mac/iOS (esp. Mac; well, because on iOS you can't do anything other than what's on screen essentially) for a long time you might realise Apple, at this point, is simply not capable of even developing those features that will allow users to do such things. And you don't even have to know Swift/objC for this sad realisation. I am pretty sure someone would have mentioned and they'd have realised it meant moving around a million hardcoded modules and frameworks and turning on/off a billion flags (a lot of them potentially global). They are that incompetent when it comes to software.
