They haven't denied it yet, it's still under investigation. They may be able to workout they were the only country in this war with Tomahawks responsible for the triple-tap missile strike, after the mid terms. Or they may just move on from it and never talk about it again, like the Epstein files.

It's nice to have more options, so far I've managed to handle most of my Linux graphics needs with https://www.photopea.com - amazing broad support of document image formats, full-featured edits and all running in the browser.

I'm trying it now for token heavy coding tasks, it's capable for many tasks but in noway compares to Claude/Sol - requires more prompts and the output isn't as good.

So just another mid-tier flash model, nothing exciting, but Antigravity has very generous quotas so it's a good workhorse model when your Claude/OpenAI subs run out.

And whilst it's a fast model, having to baby sit through and approve prompts every few seconds ends up making it slower than the Auto approve modes of Claude/ChatGPT - they definitely need an auto approve mode.

`agy --dangerously-skip-permissions`

anyway to do this with the Antigravity macOS App?

not sure why you are being downvoted, but that has been my experience with 3.7 flash and sol/fable comparisons

i think luna-max has the best cost value offer when it comes to coding, but i note the multi modality of gemini flash as a win

i might consider 3.8 flash for simple side hobby projects or quick scaffolding but would not trust it for long agentic tasks, that really is the realm of sol/fable

agy cli still has a lot of issues not sure if its due to the underlying model hallucinating or the harness or both

Annoying that they don't include pricing info in new models, here it is [1]:

Gemini 3.5 Transcribe Live (Per 1M tokens in USD):

    Input: $3.50 or $0.005/min* (audio)
    Output: 21.00 or $0.004/min* (text)
Gemini 3.5 Transcribe:

    Input: $2.00 or $0.003/min* (audio)
    Output: $12.00 or $0.002/min* (text)

Considering doing exactly this, hopefully by the time M7 Ultra is out, the RAM Apocalypse will be over.

I’m very hopeful that Apple in time won’t sit around, I hope that they will take the design and engineering of memory in house like their A and M processors or their new C series modems.

I really don’t see how they can avoid it not in the current climate, the design and engineering is already there, 10 to 20 billion dollars is already there, all they need to do is partner with Intel or TSMC onshore in the USA, Arizona would be fine. but Prineville Oregon would be better.

I don't know why some guy downvoted me. It's a great choice without expending 7K on some hardware than in less than two years will be replaced by the M7 (which is in the making).

Still absurd, but it's $4K for an additional 164GB RAM.

Waited years for a decent Desktop lineup like this as I was hugely disappointed in the generation old M3 Ultra when it was released. Unfortunately it took Apple so long that the memory prices are now through the roof - USD $4000 for 164GB RAM upgrade is insane.

I may consider a M6 Mac Mini as a stop-gap whilst waiting out RAM Apocalypse to be over. Basically abandoning any ambitions of AI sovereignty and riding out subsidised LLM pricing for the next couple of years.

Assuming future models will be any cheaper is not a good gamble lol

Been a happy Omarchy user for over a year, it's changed how I work with lots of Hyprland grouped windows spread across multiple virtual desktops which I can easily get to each with just a few keystrokes, it's a pretty fluid workflow after you get used to the keybindings.

Things I like about Omarchy:

   - Great job at blending Native Desktop, Web and CLI Apps - they launch & look the same
   - Polished themes - applied to most Apps (inc. running)
   - Built in installers for most dev tools, lets you get setup with most popular programming langs in a few secs
   - Built-in Windows (run in Docker container) great to have when you need it
Also something I only started doing recently is whenever I hit any Linux issue I now just paste it into ChatGPT and let it fix it for me which saved a lot of time porting my customizations over to Quattro. There's now built-in support for passing the crash info to your default AI Agent when a process crashes.

I'm using AI to power a lot of my desktop tasks now, even ended up buying Davinci Resolve yesterday since the paid version had scripting support which let me use ChatGPT to implement some video effects.

Minimal UI library results in maximal App code, which makes it a good usecase for why you're better of with React/Vue

I looked at the author's website, and a typical page downloaded around 60kb or less of JavaScript.

that's less than just React
